Privacy

Privacy, without the fog machine.

Timerinator is a timing app. It is not trying to become a lifestyle platform, which is a mercy for everyone involved.

What the app may send

Local timer files stay on your computer unless you choose to share a live timer. When sharing is active, Timerinator sends live presentation state to the Timerinator server so participants can view the timer. That can include share codes, temporary session identifiers, presentation title, section names, timing state, break state, slide position, callouts, speaker names, initials, colors, optional avatar images, presenter signals, and activation validation data.

Analytics and diagnostics

If you opt in, the website can load Google Analytics, Microsoft Application Insights, and Microsoft Clarity. These tools help understand page usage, performance, errors, and session behavior. They are not loaded until optional telemetry is accepted, because surprise tracking is tacky.

Cookies and local storage

Necessary cookies or storage may be used for admin authentication, activation, sharing functionality, and remembering your cookie preferences. Optional analytics and diagnostics cookies or storage are used only after consent. Details live on the cookie page.

Retention

Shared timer sessions are temporary operational data used to run the live session. Activation records may be kept to manage supporter access. Telemetry retention follows the configured retention settings of Google Analytics, Application Insights, and Clarity.

Contact

A public privacy contact will be added when support intake is finalized. Until then, use the support path provided with the app or by the person who issued your activation code.
